In detail
Principle
A cookie is a small file stored on your device when you visit a site. Under article 82 of French law no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 and Directive 2002/58/EC, no non-essential tracker is placed before you consent.
Cookies strictly necessary to provide the service are exempt from consent. They are not used to track you, to profile you or to advertise.
Your choices
Refusing is exactly as easy as accepting: both options sit side by side, at the same size, with nothing pre-ticked. Your choice is kept for six months, after which you are asked again. You can change it at any time on this page, or through the "Cookie settings" link at the foot of every page.
Withdrawing consent does not affect how the site works, and does not call into question what was lawfully done beforehand.
Third parties
Payment is handled on Stripe's own domain: any cookie set during that step falls under Stripe's policy, published on its site. Typefaces are served from this site, so displaying a page sends no request to any third party.
